Steven Brooks and team had quite the weekend last weekend hitting their stride to come home with 2 victories on the weekend after a week filled with racing. Steven would check into the Farmer City Raceway Friday July 7th with 32 UMP Modifieds in attendance. Steven would qualify 4th in group 1 starting him 2nd in heat 2. In a big heat race win, over the likes of Mike Harrison and Brian Shaw, Steven would set himself with the needed opportunity of start from the front row of one of these events where the quality of field is stout from start to finish. Steven would start the A from the 2nd position but would get out in front of Kenny Wallace to capture his 1st ever Summit Modified Nationals victory!
Steven was not done on the weekend. The team would follow up their big victory with another victory the following night at the Fairbury American Legion Speedway. Steven would win the night at the Fairbury Speedway coming home 1st ever time he was on the track to capture a clean sweep on the night doing so with 20 UMP Modifieds in attendance.
